"Whoever watches the wind will not plant; whoever looks at the clouds will not reap." Solomon's audience were farmers, and they knew a farmer who waits for flawless weather goes hungry.
As a high-capacity volunteer at a large, growing church, DeWayne has seen how much it takes to make Sunday happen, and how many people are waiting for the perfect season to start serving. It doesn't come. Moses wasn't a gifted speaker, and God sent him anyway.
Maybe you like your boss but know God is moving you on. Multiply the income gap by five years of waiting and you'll see what the clouds cost you. God usually lights only a few steps at a time. Take them and more light comes.
One participant shared that he was leaving the bar scene to start a gospel blues project, and he'd simply put it out there and was already finding musicians. DeWayne offered to connect him with his campus pastor, a founding member of a Christian band.
